Starrfarms Queens are truly superior!   First we start with specially selected breeder queens.    Our number 1 priority is gentleness, closely followed by productivity.    All queens are allowed to lay in their nucs a minimum of 21 days after hatching.   And even then, only the most productive queens are made available for sale.   We believe in our queens so much, they are guaranteed to be strong, productive layers.    It's up to you to introduce them correctly.   Please see our queen introduction guidelines on the queens page.

StarrFarms supplies beekeepers with the best quality  nucs available, and with 5 different strains of Queens!  Nucs are usually available early April and early May.  With the variable springs in the Willamette Valley, delivery dates can vary from year to year.
Reserve them early, April nucs always sell out first, quickly followed by  May .
